Helping Others

Five ways we help, all from lived experience

Hispana offers practical, experience based help in five areas that matter most to immigrant and vulnerable families: immigration paperwork, disability and Social Security benefits, education and English, tax filing, and support through the legal process. All of it comes from lived experience, not a textbook.

Immigration and Paperwork

For many years, as an immigrant and vulnerable citizen, I always had the initiative to help and promote personal growth in each and every one of those brothers and sisters who, in search of a better future, left their lands and families behind, and are now in the same position I was for many years. But today, thanks to the United States of America, I am able to contribute my grain of sand to help in the growth of this nation, hand in hand with our brothers and sisters, the vulnerable and most in need.

Guidance for immigrants and vulnerable families

Moving to a new country takes effort and courage. It also brings a long list of forms, offices, and rules that can be hard to understand, especially in a second language. Hispana walks with you through that paperwork, explains each step in plain words, and helps you find qualified legal help when your situation needs it.
