Hispana offers a safe space in its domestic violence programs for families to heal from the traumatic effects of abuse. Community services meet survivors where they are to help them discover their strengths and reclaim their freedom.
Specialized legal services are available to help with protection orders, immigration processes and visas, and court accompaniment.
A variety of support services are available, including emergency shelter, legal advocacy, case management, support groups, sexual assault services, youth programs, and assistance with permanent housing and employment.
We support individuals with autism.
Hispana’s main goal is to introduce and help facilitate early and ongoing treatment by providing necessary resources—including referrals, funding, and counseling—to individuals with autism and their families.
Studies show that early and intensive intervention is important when treating individuals with autism. Unfortunately, very few effective treatments are covered by health insurance, and families are often left to piece together a treatment program for their child through multiple funding sources.
Don’t give up—we’re with you. It’s impossible to predict the course of autism spectrum disorder. Don’t jump to conclusions about what your child’s life will be like. Like everyone else, individuals with autism have a lifetime to grow and develop their abilities.
Learning everything you need to know about autism and actively participating in treatment will greatly benefit your child. In addition, the following tips will help make daily life at home easier for both you and your child with ASD.
