Immigration Services

It is no secret that immigrants are rebuilding America.
In many urban and rural areas, the arrival of immigrants from Latin America has transformed entire communities. Just like the new Americans of the past, today’s wave of immigrants has made significant contributions to the economy, culture, and overall well-being of our nation.
However, this transformation has not been easy. Anti-immigrant rhetoric and legislation in the United States have risen dramatically over the past decade. And Congress’s failure to pass meaningful and comprehensive immigration reform has clouded the future of immigrant families, forcing them to live separated or in fear of deportation.

Hispana has worked tirelessly to protect and promote the rights of immigrants since its founding.
Our early efforts focused on local advocacy and collaboration with member agencies to develop citizenship campaigns, civic education, and English as a Second Language (ESL) programs.
Today, the Hispanic Federation has expanded its focus to become a national provider of immigrant integration and other direct services, as well as a national advocate for progressive immigration reform.
